Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on August 21, 2026, notified regarding the Career Centres and Digital Vacancy Reporting under Social Security Rules, 2026.

The Central Government has notified the Social Security (Central) Rules, 2026 under Section 139(1) of the Code on Social Security, 2020, designating the Central Employment Exchange and the National Career Service (NCS) Portal under the Directorate General of Employment as Career Centre (Central). Career Centres are required to collect and furnish employment information digitally.

Employers of every establishment or specified class/category of establishments are required to report all vacancies digitally to the Career Centre and digitally update any changes in the information already submitted. Regional Career Centres must also digitally share the collected information with the Central Career Centre through Forms XXV, XXVI and XXVI(A).

Further, vacancies for technical and scientific posts carrying Pay Level-5 (₹29,200–₹92,300) or above under the 7th CPC, or Grade Pay ₹2,800 or above under the 6th CPC, and equivalent posts, must specifically be reported digitally to the Career Centre (Central) in Form XXV.
